The Evergreen classic Gundamma Katha (1962) movie completes 50 years.NT Ramarao, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao,SV Rangarao, Savitri, Jamuna and Surya kantham played the main lead roles in the original classic.Now the remake of this film is in news again on the occasion of the movie completing 50 years of its release.
From past few years we are hearing that this movie will be remade with Nagarjuna and Balakrishna in the lead roles but they could not find the Gundamma, so the plans were shelved.Now the younger generation actors Jr NTR and Chaitanya are showing interest to remake it. Another buzz is that veteran actress Sridevi will play the role of Gundamma in the remake of the film.Movie Moghul Ramanaidu is in plans to remake it on his Suresh Productions banner.
We hope these two youngsters will make it at least now.
