Balaya lip kiss hurts heroine

Actress Isha Chawla, who was acted opposite Balakrishna in recently released Srimannarayana movie is miffed with her followers on her micro-blogging site Twitter and said good bye to Twitter and her followers.

She posted that "Sorry to those who don like it but I quit twitter today … Thanks for all d love u guys gave till now…alvida have a great life"

The reason for quitting the Twitter is that the actress is unhappy with a particular scene shot in the recently released Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana. The shot gave impression that she indulged in lip kiss. So, Isha said that she was shocked to see that scene and after a few minutes,she announced that she is quitting twitter. It seems that the actress was flooded with hated messages for her post about ‘false kiss’.

She further posted that "Thanks 2 those who believe me n also those who don’t… At least I learnt today that being true to ur audience is not worth it…"

Synopsis:

Kalki Narayana Murthy (Vijay Kumar) is a man of noble intention to serve the poor. His son Srimannarayana (Balakrishna) is an exact photocopy of his father. He is a journalist by profession. He bangs in to Swapnika (Parvati melton), a reporter from other channel who always competes with him in work. And later falls for Srimannarayana. Also there is Bhanumathi who is mardhalu of Srimannarayana. And on the serious note, a stir of events take Srimannarayana’s life by a storm and lands him in jail. And the rest of the story is all about how he ends evil and proves himself innocent.

Performances:

Bala Krishna looked pretty handsome in the role of Srimannarayana. Unlike his recent movies, his styling and costumes are good. He is at his usual best in acting and carried on tremendous energy in songs and fights. Fans will go mad with some of his dance steps.

Parvati Melton as Swapnika and Isha Chawla as Bhanumathi are good in the limited roles they are offered. They had added the required oomph factor to the movie. Suresh, Vinod Kumar Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Supreeth are good in the role of Antagonists. Rest all are okay in limited roles. Comedy track is neat.

Technical Performance:

There is no novelty in the Story of the movie, director Ravi Chawali follows a time-tested formula but made sure that there are ample commercial elements that satisfy the thrust of masses and fans. He projected Bala Krishna in the right way and extracted powerful mass performance. Screenplay of the movie is predictable which became an hindrance in the flow of the movie. Direction is good in parts.

Surrender Reddy’s cinematography technique is good. The songs composed by Chakri suited Balayya’s image but to normal audience, they might be a bit outdated.

Final Say:

The first half of the movie began on a slower note and picked pace from the pre interval scene and second half is good with ample mass elements required by Balayya fans. A slightly more gripping screenplay would have added weight to the movie. The movie goes well with fans especially Balayya’s looks and energy and it will be okay for normal audience. The box office success of the movie depends on how masses receive it.

Srimannarayana got A certificate

Nandamuri Balakrishna, Parvathi Melton and Isha Chawla starrer upcoming film "Srimannarayana" has completed its censor formalities and the movie got ’A’ certificate from the censor board.Now the movie is all set to hit the big screens worldwide on August 30th.The movie audio platinum disc function will be held on tomorrow (August 26, 2012) in Hyderabad.

Balakrishna is playing a powerful role as journalist in the film.The film is directed by Ravi Kumar Chavali and produced by Ramesh Puppala under Yellow Flowers banner. Chakri has composed the music for this flick.T Surendar Reddy is the cinematographer.

The film has Kota Srinivasarao, Ahuthi Prasad, Jayaprakash Reddy, Raja Ravindar, Duvvasi Mohan, Rao Ramesh, Nagineedu, Krishna Bhagawan, Dharmavarapu, MS Narayana, Sudha and many others in other lead roles.

Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna will appears for 25 minutes in this movie. But actually the whole story revolves around him. His appearance as the head of Royal family is superb. His characterization and performance is extra-ordinary. Manchu Lakshmi has a brief role in the movie. Her make up in the biragi role is not up to the mark. Her performance in the climax is brilliant. Sonu Sood is good in his little role. Overall UKUP response is good.

Synopsis:
Narasimha Rayudu is the heir of Gandharva Mahal. He marries his sister to his relative Bhoopathi (Sonu Sood). And after the marriage, he gifts half of his wealth and the Mahal to his sister. Bhoopathi is already in love with Amruthavalli (Lakshmi Prasanna) the daughter of a prostitute, He kills his wife and gets ready to marry Amruthavalli. Narasimha Rayudu tries to stop it and in the process kills Bhoopathi and gets killed. Prabhu is the son of Narasimha Rayudu. He tries to marry her daughter to a young lad and gives the Mahal to the groom as dowry. Bhoopathi’s soul lives in the Mahal and tries to stop the marriage. His evil intent is not to allow any marriage in the mahal except his. Finally, Narasimha Rayudu’s soul enters the body of Manchu Manoj, the son of his loyal servant and save his Mahal and family.

Performances:

Manchu Manoj had delivered a good performance through out the movie. The different getups shown in the movie are misleading. All of them come in a song. He matured himself as an actor. His facial expressions are good and diction is improved.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is the show stealer in the entire movie. He virtually lived in the role. His histrionics are composed and dialogue delivery is at its best. No present day actor can do justice for the role. His make up and styling is too good. Take bow Balayya!. But sadly, he is underused.

Manchu Lakshmi has a brief role in the movie. Her make up in the biragi role is not up to the mark. Her performance in the climax is brilliant. Sonu Sood is good in his little role

Deekshaseth and Prachi Bora have no screen space. Prabhu, Bhanu Chander, Sai Kumar and others are okay.

Technical Performances:

Director Shekar Raja is the culprit in the entire fiasco. He got a decent subject in hand but failed to narrate it perfectly. The movie is a kind of story which needs a gripping narration which is totally absent. He is lucky enough to get his debut with a big star like Balayya and in big banner like Manchu Entertainments but he failed to encash the opportunities.

Songs by Bobo Sasi is a let down except Anuragame Harathulayya, no song is well picturized. The first song of the movie should be removed immediately or else families and ladies will walk out midway. Back ground score by Chinna is good. MR Varma editing is not up to the mark. Rajashekar’s cinematography is good. Lakshmi Bhupal’s dialogues are total let down. Balayya who is a king in dialogue delivery did not get any good dialogue.

Final Say:

The first half of the movie is okay and second half is good in parts. Performances by the lead roles especially Balakrishna are awesome. But the movie did not have a proper narration to bind the audience to their seats. All in all, good effort but not so good output. Watch it to kill the time in the weekend.

Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara got U/A certificate

Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s upcoming film "Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara" movie has completed its censor formalities today (July 23rd) and the movie was awarded with U/A certificate from the censor board.So, now the movie is all set to hit the silver screens on July 27th.

As per the sources the censor board members appreciated the movie and they suggested few minor cuts in the film. The film is produced by Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and directed by Shekar Raja.Bobo Sasi scored the music.

Deeksha Seth is the female lead lady opposite Manoj in the film. NBK is playing the guest role. The film has Panchi Bora,Prabhu, Sonu Sood, Sushasini, Prabha, Lakshmi Prasanna,Saikumar and many others in other lead roles.

"Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara" to release on August 2nd

Manchu Manoj and Deeksha Seth starrer film "Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara" movie is finally got the confirmed release date after several postponements. Finally the movie is ready to hit the big screens on August 2nd on the occasion of Rakhi (Raksha Bandhan). This news has been informed to the media by film’s producer Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna.

In this film Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing an important role and actress Panchi Bora is pairing up with NBK.Sonu Sood will be seen in negative role and Lakshmi Prasanna has also played key role in the film.

Robbery In Bala krishna House

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s house in the Banjara Hills was robbed by an unknown persons and a robbery case has been registered by NBK’s family members in Jubilee Hills police station.As per the complaint, around 350 grams worth gold ornaments were robbed from NBK’s house and those ornaments would cost nearly Rs. 15 lakhs.

As per the sources this incident took place on May 24 when Mrs. Vasundhara balakrishna left on a summer vacation with family members while Balakrishna was also out of station for the outdoor shoot. The keys to the house were handed over to their relative, Prasad Babu, to supervise the minor construction activities going on in that house at that time.

When Vasundhara spoke to Prasad Babu over the phone to check if everything is in place, he found that 300 grams of golden ornaments was missing from the bedroom closet. Later a police complaint was filed in Jubilee Hills Police station and the Jubilee Hills police team dusted the entire house and recorded the fingerprints and also recorded the statements of the servants . The investigation is going on.

Bala Krishna’s first look in Bhatti Vikramarka Remake

Earlier there was a buzz that Nandamuri Balakrishna will act in a remake of 1960’s classic hit film Bhatti Vikramarka starring legendary actors late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) and late Kantharao.Now it seems that all set for remake of that film becuase producer Yalamanchili Sai Babu released a poster on the occasion of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Birthday.In that poster Balakrishna is seen in the get up of Vikramarka.

Yalamanchili Sai Babu has earlier produced Sri Ramarajyam with Nandamuri Balakrishna and now he is producing this film again with NBK.Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao is going to direct this remake movie under Sri Sai Baba Movies banner.This project will goes into sets after completion of his current project Shirdi Sai with Nagarjuna.
